PORTopera's 2007 Dinner/Dance and Auction
"An Evening in Old Seville"
A festive fundraiser that will benefit the July 2007 production of Rossini’s The Barber of Seville

Friday, May 11th, 6:30PM - 11PM
Portland Marriott at Sable Oaks - Casco Bay Room

The Cocktail Hour will begin at 6:30PM with passed hors d'oeuvres, complimentary wine, and cash bar,
after which attendees will be treated to short performance by some of the USM School of Music’s
most talented young singers, organized by Ellen Chickering, PORTopera’s director of
the Maine’s Emerging Artists program, and accompanied by Aaron Robinson.

At around 8:00 pm, a Four-Course Mediterranean Dinner with Wine will be served,
and the band will begin with dinner music.

Shortly after 8:30, there will be a Live Auction. Exciting items include:
*Two Walk-On Roles in PORT's Production of The Barber of Seville
*European Tour, including a Deluxe Cruise from Berlin to Prague
*Sunset Cocktail Cruise For Six on Peter and Pam Plumb’s 46-foot sloop, Boheme
*Seaside Gourmet Dinner hosted by PORTopera co-founders Liz and John Serrage
*Weekend Getaway and Golf Package generously donated by the Marriott Sable Oaks
*A Stunning Scott Potter piece

The Bob Charest Band will play for dancing until 11PM.
